New Brushed Metallic Acrylic SheetsAcrilex Inc, manufacturer of Acriglas® Custom Acrylic, is proud to announce the addition of the Brushed Metallics series of acrylic sheets. Brushed Metallics are designed to emulate the look of Bright dipped brushed anodized aluminum in easy to fabricate acrylic. Unlike aluminum, this product does not ding, crimp, or oxidize, and does not require a substrate or edge banding. It also can be produced in any custom metallic color without the large minimums required for custom anodizing. Currently it is offered in 12 standard colors and in thickness' ranging from 1/8" - ½". Sheet sizes are limited to a nominal 4' x 4' (46" x 50" actual). Apart from its appearance, this material can be cut, routed, laser cut, glued, formed, hot stamped, silk screened like any other standard acrylic sheet. It is also ideal in applications which require other acrylic products to be used in combination with the metallics. To learn more about these new products please call Daniel A.
