Acrilex Inc, manufacturer of Acriglas® Custom Acrylic, is proud to announce new finishes available inaddition to the Brushed Metallics series of acrylic sheets.
Acriglas® Metallics are designed to emulate the look of natural metals, such as anodized aluminum, only offered as easy to fabricate acrylic. Now you can also choose from any of our Impressions series textures to further expand your design options in metallic.
Unlike aluminum, and other metals, this product does not ding, crimp, or oxidize, and does not require a substrate or edge banding. It also can be produced in any custom metallic color without the large minimums required for custom anodizing.
Currently it is offered in 16 standard colors and in thickness' ranging from 1/8" - 1/2". Sheet sizes range from 48" x 48" to 48" x 72" depending upon desired finish.
Apart from its appearance, this material can be cut, routed, laser cut, glued, formed, hot stamped, or silk screened like any other standard acrylic sheet. It is also ideal in applications which require other acrylic products to be used in combination with the metallic series.
